After a decade of representing corporate clients at a prestigious defense firm,Marlin Perra founded Perra Law Firm with a mission to help individuals harmed by corporate negligence. The firm began with just three attorneys in a small office in White Plains, NY.
The firm secured its first major victory with a $4.2 million verdict for a client injured by a defective medical device. This case established Shapiro Legal Group as a formidable advocate for patients harmed by medical products.
Growing demand for the firm's services led to the opening of our Manhattan office in One Grand Central Place. This expansion allowed us to better serve clients throughout the New York metropolitan area while maintaining our White Plains location.
With the addition of Sarah Johnson, who brought extensive experience in pharmaceutical litigation, the firm expanded its practice to include cases involving dangerous drugs. This marked the beginning of our specialized pharmaceutical litigation practice.
